Nuclear physicist Dr Thomas Campbell draws up what is a so-called TOE (Theory Of Everything). Like a growing number of scientists now do, he postulates consciousness as the fundamental universal basis.
But besides his scientific mindset combined with philosophical insights, he also has another important asset: He knows about the 'other side' due to his longstanding meticulous consciousness research in Altered States Of Consciousness.
Doing ground-breaking work for many years at the Monroe Institute together with their pioneering founder, Robert Monroe, Campbell learnt the ropes in the field of consciousnes research and the drug-free inducement of altered states on himself.
He nowadays in his presentations and workshops talks about using meditation in a very broad sense. Actually, the planned and systematic gaining of knowledge of non-physical dimensions strictly speaking deals with Out-Of-Body Experience (OBE).
From a historical perspective, many religious visions (even some of the Holy Scriptures) and mystic experiences eventually have OBE-experiences at their root. Cosmologies of Eastern, esoteric or theosophic teachings deal with „astral levels", which are nothing else but older concepts of dimensions of existence with different vibration and densities. More recent and today's publishing (Western!) OOB experts (e.g. W. Buhlman, R. Bruce, R. Monroe, S. Muldoon, R. Petterson, K. Leeland, just to name a few) are also very consistent in their findings.
Some even claim that you can explore your own timeline of incarnations, viz. your past and in-between lives, by visiting specific levels / areas / databases of the astral world.
So this is why I mention OBEs as a '3. method' of gaining knowledge about reincarnation. W. Buhlman (link given in the video) talks about this possibility, too.
Thus reincarnation is what Campbell also talks about in his talks. Despite different epistemological methods for each one, much of what he says about life in between lives is fairly consistent with the content of the interviews with M. Newton and S. Schwartz (see links) who also talk about the life between life with activities such as life reviews and pre-life planning - all guided and assisted by helpful guides.

Nuklearphysiker Dr. Thomas Campbell entwirft das was man eine „Weltformel" nennt. Wie es eine zunehmende Anzahl von Wissenschaftlern nun tut, postuliert er Bewusstsein als die fundamentale universale Basis.
Er hat neben seinem wissenschaftlichen Ausrichtung kombiniert mit philosophischen Einsichten einen Vorteil: Er kennt die „andere Seite" aufgrund seiner langjährigen akribischen Bewusstseinsforschung mittels veränderten Bewusstseinszuständen.
Campbell lernte die Grundlagen im Feld der Bewusstseinsforschung und der eigenen drogensubstanz-freien Induktion von ASCs für ihn selbst während der bahnbrechenden Arbeit am Monroe Institut zusammen mit dem Pionier und Gründer Robert Monroe.
Heute spricht Campbell in seinen Vorträgen und Workshops von Meditation in sehr weitem Sinne. Allerdings ist damit strenggenommen die systematische Erkenntnisgewinnung über nicht-physische Dimensionen durch Außerkörpererfahrung (Out-Of-Body Experience, OBE) gemeint.
Historisch betrachtet sind viele religiöse Visionen und mystische Erfahrungen offensichtlich in außerkörperlichen Erfahrungen begründet. Kosmologien von östlichen, esoterischen und theosophischen Lehren sprechen auch von „Astralebenen", was nichts weiteres als ältere Vorstellungen zur Beschreibung von auf unterschiedlicher Dichte und Schwingung basierenden Dimensionen sind. Die heutigen publizierenden (westlichen!) AKE-Experten (z.B. W. Buhlman, R. Bruce, R. Monroe, S. Muldoon, R. Petterson, K. Leeland, um nur ein paar zu nennen) sind ebenfalls sehr konsistent in ihren Berichten.
Manche behaupten auch, dass du deine eigene Zeitlinie von Inkarnationen, sprich: deine vergangenen Leben und Zwischenleben, erforschen kannst, indem du spezifische Bereiche, Ebenen oder Datenbanken in der Astralwelt frequentierst.
Aus diesem Grund nenne ich OBEs als „3. Methode" zur Erlangung von Wissen über Inkarnationen. W. Buhlmann (siehe links) spricht ebenfalls über diese Methode.
Somit spricht auch Campbell über Reinkarnation in seinen Büchern und Vorträgen. Trotz unterschiedlichster Erkenntnismethoden bei jedem, ist vieles von dem, was er über Zwischenleben erzählt, recht konsistent mit dem Inhalt der Interviews von M. Newton und S. Schwartz. Beide sprechen auch vom Zwischenleben mit Aktivitäten wie z.B. Lebensrückblick und Lebensvorausplanung - alles unterstützt von hilfsbereiten Lehrern.
